Dit schijnt inderdaad een normaal gedrag te zijn bij Android telefoons (OTG) en de Mavic (Mini en andere) RC. iOS-toestellen zoals iPhone hebben er geen last van, het betreft immers een Android-standaard. Er bestaan blijkbaar apps om dit te verhinderen, maar dit bevelen we niet aan. Beste opties zijn:

– switchen naar een iPhone of ander iOS-toestel als dit je stoort;
– steeds met een opgeladen telefoon vliegen

Het officiële antwoord van DJI is dit:

“Regarding the DJI Mavic Mini’s remote controller charging the Android devices. In relation to this matter the Android mobile device needs on-going 500ma to maintain the USB connection, so there is no option for the Android device to disable the charging mode, it is related to the android system and the communication protocol. This is regulated by the Android Open Accessory ( AOA ). Thank you for understanding and support.”
